DON QUIJOTE IN LOVE

MATERIALS: tempera paint or watercolours.

First, you have to draw your sketch and decide what materials you will need.

1st level 

A WINDMILL

MATERIALS: roll paper, colourful card and shiny paper, scissors and glue.

POINTILLISM

• It is a technique in which small dots of colour are applied instead of brushtokes. 
• When observed from a distance, you get to see color patches instead of dots.                       
• Henri Cross and  Georges Pierre Seurat were some of the artists who worked in the Pointillist style.

We have used the Pointillist technique to complete the drawing " The starry night" by Van Gogh.

                                                           

PENCIL SHADING

• In this technique we use a soft lead pencil.
• You can achieve different tones- dark, medium and light- depending on how much pressure you apply.
• It gives the sensation of volume.

With the 4th grade we,ve worked " The Easter Island Statues".

We have done research about this topic. These are our works.

With the 5th grade we practiced this technique to shade the "The Statue of Moses" by Michaelangelo.
